Inspirational Melodies

Keith Johnson, singer, pianist, composer and orchestrator, is a native Washingtonian.  At age seven he surprised his mother, a piano teacher, by playing a Paderewski Minuet completely by ear without a single lesson. His mother quickly enrolled him at Cornish College of the Arts, in Seattle, where he studied concert piano and music theory under Lockrem Johnson, renowned pianist, composer, and music department head.

Keith received his Certificate of Studies in concert piano and composition from Cornish when he was 16 and went on to explore musical theatre in high school and local summer stocks. His favorite singing roles were Fagin in Oliver Twist, and Barnaby in Hello Dolly, and he became a Christian at age 18. He began writing songs for the Lord and has served as worship leader in several churches throughout his lifetime.  He has written hundreds of choruses, songs, and prophetic songs, which have been heard throughout the United States, China, Canada and England as well as in churches, Christian conventions, worship symposiums and radio broadcasts.

Keith believes that humankind was created to worship God, and that music can be a glorious vehicle for that worship.  Keith desires that his songs touch the believer’s heart and provide a glimpse into the wonderful glory and love that is our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  It has been his pleasure to write these love songs that honor the Lord, and to orchestrate them for your best possible musical experience.

 

Keith has been married to his wonderful wife, Debbie, for over 50 years. They have two daughters and three grandchildren and have decided to incorporate Music for His Majesty to bring this music to you.  So, please sit back, enjoy the songs, and let your spirit soar!
